I want to thank everyone who works on this site for their tremendous effort in bringing neutral coverage of the Iraq situation straight from the mouths of the Iraqi people themselves. Thank you very much and I hope you will be able to continue your efforts in Iraq.

I too would also like to give a huge thank you to the Alive in Baghdad team, and say that your grassroots filming work is now more important than ever. You have so far captured the constant flux Iraq and Iraqis find themselves in, and in a few years or decades historians will look to your films as strong material/evidence.

Focussing on quality and not quantity is a good strategy, and you should put more effort into initially re-building your viewer base, after which you’ll achieve a level of organic growth. Best of luck in this exciting endeavor.

The truth cannot be told because we have no money. How strange the world is.
Now more than ever I understand how precious the TRUTH tellers are. They are the mountains that hold this fragile human fabric from disintegration.
The are millions of liers but very few truth tellers left.

I am amazed by your website and I will share it with my 5th grade students in New York. I hope you can continue your work safely. Thank you,

This site needs to be moderated. This site should show the need for peace on war torn regions. Not hateful comments that happen with a site unmanaged.

Thank you for what you gave the world. As a teacher, my students have seen a side of Iraqi life they never would have seen. They are better equipped to study the news and know that what they hear from American journalists is only part of the story.

Thank you for all your effort! Even if all you ever were able to produce are the videos you have so far, this is so valuable! These videos are useful for studying dialect, as here its possible to study MSA but picking up dialect is harder unless you happen to live near Iraqis. For ten years I have been praying and studying to one day be able to coordinate aid from churches here in the U.S. reaching Iraq, paying for the cost of orphans to attend school, etc… These videos will be incredibly valuable to show people and also give churches a better idea of what specifically we can be praying for the people and nation of Iraq. God is so strong and he will never abandon this country or this people and while leaders/militaries may come and go, God will never forsake the people of Iraq and He is for them. And even when there is no media coverage, He sees all that goes on. Nothing is hidden from Him. May God himself strengthen you and encourage you in your work on behalf of the people.
